Public health Policy
There are very few doctors with qualifications in Public health. There is an interest in Public health recently and the Government of India is focusing along with organiztions like the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI).
The PHFI is being sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ranbaxy, Reliance, etc.
Other Public health programmes include programmes conducted by BITS, Pilani on Public health.
Interesting facts: The Count of Monte Cristo
The count of Monte Cristo is Alexander Dumas' classic tale of love, betrayal and revenge. Alexander Dumas and his ghostwriter Gasquet wrote it based on several true stories. One of the key characters was the unforgettable Abbe Faria.

Jungle Book: Interesting literary facts
The famous book "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling was inspired by his visit to the Seoni Forest and a memoir by Sir William Sleeman.
The character Mowgli is based on a series of wolf-boys reported in the late 19th century in the Kingdom of Oude (Lucknow, Nagpur and other regions around Madhya Pradesh).
These wolf-boys are known as feral children and brought up by wolves.
